Morgan Franz
Education: Associate’s Degree in Biblical Studies and an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.
Child Care Experience: My first jobs included frequent baby sitting for numerous families of various ages, church nursery provider, and a summer nanny job for two girls. After high school I nannied for two children near the Twin Cities and then worked as an aide in the infant room at Hopeful Beginnings childcare in Grand Forks, ND. In 2016 I started at HNCCCC as a floating aide and moved to Toddler Teacher in 2017.
Personal History: I grew up in a small town in North Dakota. In high school I enjoyed being yearbook editor/photographer, captain of the golf team and playing basketball. After graduating I attended the Association Free Lutheran Bible School where I played basketball and met my husband, Adam — all while learning to be the hands and feet of Christ. After earning my degree, I attended one year at the University of North Dakota before moving back to the Cities and getting married in 2016. I joined the Holy Nativity family in 2016 and graduated from Rasmussen College in 2018. Adam and I live in Maple Grove and are expecting our first child, a boy, in February of 2019!
Hobbies: I enjoy scrolling through Pinterest, golfing, going on walks and watching movies. Although I’m sure these will change once Baby Boy Franz joins us!
Why I Like Working at HNCCCC: I love watching the kids grow and learn! It is amazing to see the lightbulb go on when they understand something new! I love walking into the classroom and hear, “Ms. Morgan is here!” I enjoy teaching the kids biblical stories and songs in a Christian environment! The kids’ hugs are great and I can’t say enough about our staff family! Brittany runs a great center and the other staff members know their stuff! Some are literally my family, my sister-in-law, Jenny, works in the baby room, and my husband, Adam, floats around to all of the classrooms.
